I videotaped outside, had wonderful clarity and even looked HD. Problem is, that when I started to edit in Premiere Pro, the clarity was not there, this ‘was’ after rendering. Is there anyhting I can do to maintain the clarity from the videotape. Not having the clarity really takes away from the impact of this film. Thanks for any and all help,…..Max

Clarity and compression are closely related.

What are you using for your output settings?

Are you de-interlacing? That process will soften your image quite a bit.
