Premiere Pro 2018
Hi everyone. New with this email address and account, long time user. I have a question that I wonder if anyone knows a quick answer to.
A colleague is editing a project with 2018 for certain reasons. It seems that with 2018, when she tries to copy a sequence from one project (A) to another project (B) that has the same clips available, it also tries to copy over a set of bins that it thinks are necessary in order to have that sequence active in the new project. Instead of recognizing the clips that are already in Project B.
When I tried to do this in PP 2021, I had no problem. Sequence copied over and no bins came with it. When I selected a clip in the sequence in Project B and “Reveal(ed) in project” it found the clip in Project B.
Any wise people here remember this changing at some point? It seems like people were complaining about this lack of ease in copying sequences from one project to another at least through 2019.
