    Hi everyone,

Can anyone explain to me how you can zoom in and out on stills and video clips in Premiere pro – is it somewhere in the “Motion” tool? Can’t find it in the Adobe user guide. I’m a relatively new user and have come over from Windows Movie Maker (a bit of a leap!) and in this software it was quite a simple thing to achieve.

    Many thanks,

    Bruce.

You should use the Motion effect, yes. Set the beginning point and then click on the stopwatch to set the first keyframe. Then move to the end of the clip and set the next position. Changing the position, and scale if needed, will create keyframes.

It is also possible to do this by scaling and moving the image in the Program window interactively creating keyframes as you go.
