I recently tried to edit some wedding videos that i’ve shot this summer, and want to cut the opening sequence to music. I tried using the Trim Window to get the cut matched with the songs tempo. However when i select/highlight the clips i want to trim, only the latter one shows up in the trim window?

How can i get both clips to appear in the trim window so that i can adjust the in and out points on each to where i need them?

Why not try using some markers in the timeline (Program Window) for the musical beats then use the slip/slide tools or just drag the ends of the clips to the markers.

From memory I do not think audio plays in the Trim Window.

Not very clear on what you want to do but in your case I w’l trim in the TL.
Just play the secuence & hit the * in the number keypad accordingly with the beat. You will see a mark above the TL. Then drag the clip you want to match.
Also you can use the wave sound in the audio track (As I do) to make the beat match.
I only use the timeline for editing maybe because I used to edit from the
old linear way from vcr to vcr so I had to check back & forth before continuing to make sure all was doing fine.

Put your CTI at the join of 2 clips on the timeline, the trim window displays the last frame of the first clip and the first frame of the second. Your clips will have to have sufficient “handles” to create new out and in points.
