    Hello helpful people,
I am a school teacher and I am looking to purchase MacBooks for my students. The Pros are too expensive for us. I also want to buy CS5. My students were trained on PCs in Premiere. Now I want to buy them Premiere for Mac. So my question is, do you think a MacBook (specs below) would be able to handle Premiere well? The longest videos they will make will be 15 min. in length.
    Thank you so very much.

    MacBook Specs:
    2.4GHz : 250GB
    2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    2GB DDR3 memory
    250GB hard drive1
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
    NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics
    Built-in 7-hour battery2
    Polycarbonate unibody enclosure

    I could also add more RAM 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM – 2x2GB

What will be the main video format (e.g. 1080p30 H.264)? These MBs might be a bit too slow to playback H.264 video smoothly – the rest of the specs seem OK (not great but OK) for student purposes.
