Our team has several community Macs running Premiere. We all use our own logons when we work on the computers. We recently upgraded to OS Lion and CS 5.5. When we did Premiere would only work on the logon on which it was installed. It will start to open on other logons but then just disappears. Anyone else experiencing this or know of a solution.

I shared some info in another thread where something like this happened. We had to delete the account in question and create a new user account. When trying to delete the account, we also tried to “archive” the account’s contents (settings, etc.) and it failed, indicating, in part, the account itself had become corrupt.

Once a new user account (with the same username/password) was created, all was well.

We now believe the issue was cause when Premiere was open on one user account while Fast User Switching was used to access something in another account and Premiere was opened accidentally. The non-admin account (admin account was used to install Production Premium) would be unable to use Premiere even though it worked fine on the primary admin account.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the input. Tried it but it did not work. However, have since discovered that the issue is with the Squeeze Plugin for Premiere.

It is possible there is a squeeze plugin in the premire plugins folder. Get rid of that.
