premiere isn’t recognizing my approved card
We just installed an EVGA geForce GTX570 (on the list of approved graphics cards for premiere) into our PC and while everything else is reading the card the option of using the mercury playback is still grayed out to software only mode. all drivers for the card are up to date. Not sure why this isn’t working.

Are you running CS5.5, or CS5? I don’t believe card was yet approved for when CS5 was out. Might need to do “the hack” to make Premiere see it if using CS5 – https://www.studio1productions.com/Articles/PremiereCS5.htm

Jeff’s right about the GTX 570 not being one of the cards that Premiere Pro CS5 would use for CUDA Processing. That card was added to the list for Premiere Pro CS5.5.
