  Premiere frozen

  I was editing RED footage natively in PrPro CS6. Project is less than 10 min. At the time I was applying a pitch fazer effect to some audio. All was going fine until the program froze. JKL keys do not work. Space bar has no effect. Clicking the play button would not work. I can move the play head with the mouse but there is no audio sound or in the meters and the video is frozen on a frame. I was editing from an imported xml from Resolve.
  Can anyone help me resolve this issue? This is very frustrating cause I was at the end.
