A couple of weeks ago I have posted about my Premiere CS3 freezing when I was editing subtitles. I use Premiere CS3 with Matrox RTX2 LE card.
Now his is happening when I´m working with other projects without subtitles involved.
The program freezes and then I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to close Premiere.
I know that exists some procedures to do when freezes are becoming constant.
What can I do to trace the problem?

there are some thongs that can be done as general practice… I’d start with a complete uninstall/reinstall of PPro and Matrox in the specified order… applications can sometimes simply need a fresh start. next, i’d test RAM and also determine whether or not you may have a piece of media common to all the crashing projects that could be bad… from mobi.creativecow on my motoQ

In my Preferences, the scratch disk is the same disk of the project for Captured Video, Captured Audio, Video Preview, Audio Preview, Media Cache and DVD Encoding. Can it be the cause for freezing?
