Premiere Flattens Sequence – Source / Record Editing

November 29, 2022 at 12:40 amHi all,
I’ve noticed that when I edit from the multicam nests in Premiere’s source monitor and overwrite it onto the program monitor timeline, it retains all the individual video and audio tracks that are selected.
However, when I try to put an edited sequence into premiere’s source monitor and then overwrite it onto the program monitor: it flattens the entire sequence into a single nest. Does anyone know how to fix this and how to prevent it from happening?

November 29, 2022 at 5:09 pmHey Eric – yes that’s correct. It’s nesting the sequence that’s in the source monitor when it is being overwritten onto the program monitor timeline.
