    Hi, I having problems with Premiere Pro, My Monitor is calibrated with spyder 3, when I Edit a simple Clip and apply some color correction and B&C I render the sequence and everything look fine in Premiere but When I do the Export Media Using H264 or Quicktime JPG the color in the output file are not the same as my Sequence looke very washed out. is this normal?

    Hi, PC

    I just also notice when I play the video in VLC the color are Fine. also when I play the Video on Mac is Fine. What could be the problem?

    Yes, if I remmber well, it has to do with a difference in working gamma between the Mac and PC, and has been a known issue for a long time.

    Once in Quicktime, go to Window > Show movie properties. Select the Video track > Video Setting tab. Select “Blend, and set it to 100%. Then select “Straight Alpha, and save it.

    If you work in After Effect, you can color manage for this issue, at least for motion Jpeg.

    I don’t know if you’ve solved your problem already or not, but I did a series of tests bringing still images into Premiere Pro using different color profiles.

    I found a big difference in the way Premiere Pro handles colors in JPEG and TIFF files. Converting your photos to the sRGB color space and saving them in the TIFF format should help solve the problem.
