Premiere Elements — students can’t import PSD files
I don’t see a Premiere Elements forum here, so I’ll give it a shot on Pro….
In Premiere Elements 12 (Windows 7 Pro), if a student is logged in, they cannot import a PSD file — they get this error message: ‘The importer reported a generic error.’
I can import PSDs if I am logged in on these dozen computers, but I am an Admin on these machines. Is there something I can do to make this work for students WITHOUT making them an Admin?

Make sure the psd’s are RGB and not CMYK.
