Premiere Doing WeirdSnapping to Lower Tracks on Timeline
Hi all. I tried to find a solution here but I haven’t seen anyone document this issue. I’m on El Capital on a 2013 Mac Pro. When I drag things in the Premiere timeline, it drops the objects two layers below their original track. The clips hang about two tracks lower than my mouse cursor when I drag them on the timeline. It makes editing very annoying. I’ve restarted the program and restarted my computer with no luck, as well as opened multiple projects to makes sure it wasn’t an issue with my project file. I have also tried changing my workspace with the same results. I’ve turned snapping off and on and it does the same thing whether snapping is on or off.

Is the issue related to your track patching at the left edge of the timeline?

Win 7 64-bit

Adobe CC 2014 (as of 7/2015)
256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
