My boss and I have a weird issue. Shes a videographer and delivers a copy of the footage to me, I edit and email the proj file to her which she checks before exporting. We’ve had an ongoing issue where the zoom track for her will be out of sync by 1/2 a second. It seems when she opens the proj file and it does all its conforming and peak gen it cuts off the first half second of the zoom file and the last half a second is just empty. We’ve gone through all our prefs and they all match up, we’re both on the same version of PremiereProCC, the only difference is I’m on PC and she is on mac.

Its not a huge issue to work around but we’d rather not have to do it for every project. Anyone have ideas as to whats causing this? Thank you in advance.

Make sure to use 16 bit 48 kHz audio. Deviating from that can cause issues.

You can convert the audio from X bit YY kHz to 16 bit 48 kHz in most audio applications, such as Adobe Audition, before importing the audio into Premiere Pro.
