For an example I have uploaded a screenshot:

Note how the edges are cut off, you cannot see the entire word “Florida” at the bottom. It does this with every format, every time. I have done everything I can think of to fix this, I’ve spent hours Google searching to no avail. I have a project due in 2 days! Please help me!

Drag and drop the footage from the Project panel to the New Item button at the bottom of the pane. That way, you’ll have a sequence that is the perfect size for your footage. Currently, it looks like you have the wrong sequence settings.

Like Kevin said, video clip appears to be larger than the sequence setting frame size, but if you WANT that size sequence setting – right-click the clip on the timeline and select “Scale to Frame Size” to get clip to fit better.

Thank you so much, that did it. the sequence was set to the same size as the footage, so i can’t explain why it was doing that. i can’t believe i wasted so much time on something that was so easily fixed!

I am having the same type of issue but is slows down the clip. I think it could have something to do with frame rate. I am shooting in 60 fps but my sequence might be playing in 30. I don’t know how to change it. Could you please help!!!
