I am having an issue printing to tape with Premiere CS6. When I select Export > Tape, I receive a blinking message in the preview window, “Playing on video hardware.”

    I am using:
    OSX 10.6.8
Blackmagic DeckLink SDI with Blackmagic Design Desktop Video 9.6.8
    Sony DVCAM DSR-2000

My capture settings are set to Blackmagic Capture. Editing mode has been set to both Blackmagic Uncompressed and Quicktime DV NTSC (My video is 720×486 uncompressed 10 bit 29.97 fps), both yielded same results. Sequence settings have been set to both Blackmagic Design NTSC 4X3 and DV-NTSC, both yielded same results. Device Control is set to Blackmagic Device Control. My Sony DVCAM is in remote mode. All is hooked up correct because Final Cut Pro 7 prints to tape just fine.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I am having the same issue as well.

I am doing some testing for laying off from Premiere CS6 using a Blackmagic card. I was able to output an SD sequence to D-Beta with some glitches but when I go to HD, I get the flashing blue “playing on video hardware” I’ve exported out a self contained QT of the file and brought it back in to see if that helps, but it yielded the same results. Any help would be most appreciated! Thanks!

Send Adobe a bug report so they can fix it 😀
