Premiere CS6 and XDCAM-EX
I’m having this weird problem while trying to edit EX footage in Premiere CS6.
First of all, I’ve being working with this setup for centuries, but suddenly this happened.
When importing about 2 hours of footage into Premiere, the software recognizes it as 23 HOURS.
The clips that should last about 13 minutes, last 1 hour and a half.
Same problem in CS5.5.
I’ve tested the same footage in EDIUS 6 to see what would happened and everything worked fine. But I really need to do this video inside Premiere.Footage is 1080p 29,97
System is i7, 8GB RAM.Any idea of what would be happening?

Could it be interpreting it as the wrong frame rate? You could check in the Project window.
Good luck.We shoot XDCAM on a JVC HM150 – ppro CS6 is the only thing we have that’ll play it, so I have to use it to convert it to AIC if my colleague needs to edit in FCP Express.
