  Hi – I’ve been having all sorts of problems with my Matrox Mini and CS 5 / 5.5 on a MacPro. I’m investigating whether Blackmagic offers a more reliable / elegant solution…

  I tend to edit HDV (1080i 50) and DSLR (1080p 25) footage, but all have to deal with some old tape driven formats like DV and Hi8. Can anyone pls let me know which product you recommend. I looked initially at the Intensity Pro, but it doesn’t seem to handle all the formats I need, so I then got interested in the Decklink Studio.
