  Premiere CS5.5 Random Momentary Hangs With DVCPRO HD 1080 24PA footage

  Premiere freezes up momentarily for about 5-6 seconds before recovering while working with 1080 24PA footage. This is getting really annoying and I’ve never experienced this issue with any other codec. I assume removing the pulldown is causing this. Anyone ever had this issue?

  EDIT: Well, after extensive testing it turns out to be the HDV timelapse footage I had sped up which was the culprit. I had completely forgotten about it.
