    Hi all,
I’m valuating if switch from FCP to premiere pro. Meanwhile I opened premiere to test it(as I own already the production premium collection and I have already installed it on my mac)) but a message pop up and Premiere quit. Pop up has a yellow sign and says:

Premiere pro has encountered an errod.
    [/Scully64/shared/adobe/Mediacore/medialayer/
    VideoFilterHost/Make/Mac/../../Src
    AEPluginVideoFilterModule.cpp-108

I’ve tried to unistall it and the reinstall but nothing changed.
How can I solve the problem.
    Thanks for the help

    Tommaso

Is your OS up to date? Which version are you trying to run?

I had this same issue with my CS5. It was because I installed magic bullet looks for FCP. Once I reinstalled looks for premiere it worked fine again. Check for any issues or changes with plug ins you have made lately.

    Hey Mijail,

The problem was caused by a plug in installed on premiere being corrupted. Try reinstalling any plug ins you have installed.

FCP is final cut pro, I use both FCP and premiere and the problem came from a plug in I use on both, re installing it on premiere fixed the problem.

    Cheers,

    Steve

Have you made any changes to any of the plug ins? Or have you updated any of the adobe or OS software that might have stuffed up a plug in?

Basically this problem was caused by a faulty plug in and I cant really offer anymore help, you might have to uninstall all of them and start over installing one at a time until it works.

    Sorry I can’t help more.
