I was just wondering if video previews need to be rendered for final export. I know that it is obviously for previewing transitions and any other effects applied but I was just wondering if it is absolutely necessary for the final export. Would it speed up final export in any way so that it does not have to be rendered again?

It only helps if you export to the same format you’ve rendered in (timeline) and you tick the hidden option to use preview files. Otherwise you just export the edit and don’t worry about the rendering first.

Thanks. So would it make a difference if I was using the ‘Send to Encore’ through Dynamic Link?
