    Hi,

I’m about to edit a project shot on the RED using CS4 with the 1.7 Plugin. I have a Blackmagic Intensity card hooked up but I can’t get any output from the card unless it’s a Black Magic sequence. Is that just the nature of that particular BM card or is that just BM/Premiere. I can’t seem to find any documentation that indicates whether a card will work with the R3D presets or not. Does the Decklink do the same thing? Don’t want to buy another card unless I know for sure.

At the moment, I’m using Windows XP 32bit since Windows 7 won’t work with my graphics card.

    Thanks

Yes, most cards, including those from BM / AJA will require that you set up a project that makes use of the drivers for that particular card.

As an alternative, you could simply use a dual head DVI Nvidia card, or 2 cards and tell Premiere to output full screen on the second display.

    Thanks Vince,

So I’m able to use 2 NVidia Cards? I want a 3 monitor setup with the third as a client monitor.

    Thanks,
