    Hello,

I am trying to import on a PC some HD 1920×1080 QT (mov) files that were created on a JVC GY HM100U.

At first I was told I was missing a codec, and after trying to add a few new codecs including one from Calibrated, I was able to import the files, but they are playing with a grey bar grid over about 30% of the image.

Here’s a look at what I am seeing.

What am I missing here and what do I need to do to correct this? I gotta believe this can work since the file is already most of the way there, I just need to rid myself of the dreaded grey grid blues.

Any ideas would be very helpful.

    Hi,

It looks like you’ve installed and using our DEMO version of Calibrated{Q} XD Decode for Windows. The gray grid pattern is the DEMO watermark. To remove the watermark you’ll need to purchase a Software License:

    Greg,

Thanks for posting this. I feel like a damned moron. I should have recognized this as a watermark and if I had paid closer attention on the Calibrated site, I would have noted the watermark warning and the license issue.

I have now purchased the license and am living watermark-free in blissful happiness now. Thank you!
