  Premiere CS 5.5 and Quick Synk Technology

  Hi guys, I have a question.

  I am working right now on workstation with MB ASUS P8P67 PRO (REV 3.0), I7 2600K, 16 Gig RAM and Matrox MXO2 Mini with MAX and Adobe CS 5.5 Master Collection.

  My friend using a MB and processor supporting Quick Synk Technology and edit with Edius. He is not using any hardware for Edius. He is using this same AVCHD video format from this same camcorder I am using.

  He tells me that his export time using Quick Synk Technology for H.264 Blu-ray format video is twice faster then my with MXO2 MAX.

  My question is: Is upgrating to Quick Synk Technology to keep working with Adobe CS 5.5 will help me with my workflow and export time or Quick Synk Technology realy works with Edius only?
