Hey, I came across a strange problem here at work. Whenever I open a new project on Premiere 2.0, it automatically creates a folder with the same title as an old project and it also creates subfolders with Driver letters as their names.

Anyone understand why Premiere would create these foldes on its own?

    1. Auto Save Project Files
    2. Peak and CFM files
    3. Preview files

Where these are created is set with in Preferences>Scratch Discs.

I dont understand what you mean by Driver Letter.

I’m sorry let me corrrect myself. Premiere creates these folders on its own anytime the program is opened. Its like its trying to remember a path that once existed. It also creates .mcdb files.
I don’t think its the scratch disks.

By drivers letters i mean hard drives (X,E). It creates folders for them.
