    Hi guys,

I’m having trouble with Premiere which suddenly, out of blue, is not able to read some clips in my sequence anymore. Those clips are ‘merged clips’, as I synced them using timecode.

Basically when I try to play them in the programme monitor (and even in the source one as I try to play the original merged clip from the project panel) I can only see a black frame (the audio works fine), which slows Premiere down and crashes it. If I try to export the sequence the software freezes.

I have tried to open the project on another machine and even using another drive where I had the rushes backed up. Nothing changes. Even if I open an old version of the project it has the same issue and I have been working on this project for more than a week!!

    It just doesn’t make sense…

Is there anyone who had experienced the same issue before?

    Thank you!
