  • Premiere crashing when exporting a specific sequence

I have Premiere CS4 on a fully qualified macbook pro.

I have had plenty of success exporting with the media encoder until I tried exporting one specific sequence. The sequence is about 15 minutes long and has the following effects: Luma curves, RGB curves, crop

The file will render via AME if I go through AME via File>import adobe premiere sequence, but Premiere consistently crashes (with no error) every time I try exporting from premiere export>media.

The sequence DOES succeed however if I turn of either the Luma or RGB curve effects.

What is going on? Is premiere unable to handle this?

    Thanks

    Hi Alex,

what version of cs4 is it, have you got both ame and ppro saying they are the same version number (4.2 latest).

what files are you working with, what are you trying to export out to and do you have any special tick boxes running in the export settings?

thanks this info should help us to test ourselves if this is indeed a bug.

    Cheers,

    Jon Barrie
