Premiere Crashing When Creating or Opening Sequence
Hello. So, my problem is just like the subject says: everytime I try to open a project or create a new sequence, Premiere crashes. I don’t why, this is happening since yesterday (it was working just fine) and I changed nothing on my notebook or premiere.
I’ve already trashed my preferences, reinstalled Premiere, but it won’t work. When I create a sequence, it crashes. Not matter what the configuration is.

Strangely enough, this began happening with me today. Haven’t had a crash in many, many months, then 4 today so far, editing the same programs I’ve been working on for a couple of weeks. The only change I made was to update my versions of FilmImpact’s plugins yesterday.

This is odd. I hope there’s some fix for this. By the way, After Effects works just fine.

Ok, I found the solution. I don’t know why it happened, but I use an AMD video card, so I checked on Catalyst and Premiere was locked on Power Saving mode, unlike After Effects which was on High Performance mode. But Premiere is locked in there, so I couldn’t change the settings. This is the solution:
Just rename the “Adobe premiere pro.exe” to anything you like.I renamed it to “Adobe premiere pro CC.exe”. AMD Catalyst will recognize it as a new app, and you can change the power setting to Highperformance at all.
