Premiere crashes on export – causing my whole computer to turn off
Starting a little over a week ago, Premiere has been turning my whole computer (iMac) off during exports. There’s no warning – it’s just as if there is a power outage. I can always turn the computer right back on, and don’t think that it is a power issue. I’ve tried it with the computer plugged into different battery backups and surge protectors, and I’ve never had any problem like this before.
Anyone have any ideas?

Is it possible that you have allotted too much RAM to Premiere Pro, or not configured RAM allocation at all, so that when the RAM gets taxed, there’s nothing left for the OS, and hence, the shutdown?
The only way anyone is going to have any specific ideas is for you to list your hardware, amount of RAM, OS version, graphics card, etc. Otherwise it’s pure guesswork.
