Premiere crashes if a project is closed before media is done loading
The title pretty much says it. Is this common? I opened a project, copied some stuff I needed for another project, then opened another project before the current one was done loading. It froze up. It’s not the first time it’s happened. Not a huge problem, but some of my projects are pretty huge and take a few minutes to load all the media.
Which brings me to a wish…
Being a former FCP editor, there’s not a whole lot of things I miss about it, but one thing I loved about FCP was the ability to open multiple projects at once. I work at a university and i’m constantly cross-pollinating footage between projects. It was nice to pop over to one project, find the footage I needed and then paste into a timeline on the current project.Dell T76000 Dual 8-core 2.4 GHz

I’ve had that happen once in awhile. not all the time.
It is annoying since it’s possible to accidentally
open the wrong project.I just wait for it to finish then close it.
