The title pretty much says it. Is this common? I opened a project, copied some stuff I needed for another project, then opened another project before the current one was done loading. It froze up. It’s not the first time it’s happened. Not a huge problem, but some of my projects are pretty huge and take a few minutes to load all the media.

Which brings me to a wish…
Being a former FCP editor, there’s not a whole lot of things I miss about it, but one thing I loved about FCP was the ability to open multiple projects at once. I work at a university and i’m constantly cross-pollinating footage between projects. It was nice to pop over to one project, find the footage I needed and then paste into a timeline on the current project.

I’ve had that happen once in awhile. not all the time.

It is annoying since it’s possible to accidentally
    open the wrong project.

I just wait for it to finish then close it.
