Premiere corrupts wav files
I need some help.
I have a premiere and for some unknown reason whenever i place wav files that i recorded from a zoom recorder into it they corrupt and do not play.
Premiere is changing the format to the following:
24932-bit integer (little endian), Stereo 48.000 kHz (again it’s a wav file)
Before i put them into premiere the format is this: Linear PCM, 16 bit little-endian signed integer, 2 channels, 48000 Hz
After connecting any of these files to Premiere they do not play any where. I had to go back in time machine to pull the uncorrupted file out. Even when I start a new project and bring the uncorrupted file into it, after closing and reopening the project. the file it covered in diagonal lines on the time line and does not open. Adobe is working on the issue, but it’s like pulling teeth, it seems they have not seen this before. I have been trying to figure this out for a week and any help anyone can offer would be appreciated Thanks
