I tried to build a title last night for a project using Premiere CC. No matter what I tried, the space bar would not let me separate words. I’d hit the space bar and nothing would happen. I closed Premiere CC and opened Premiere 6 and everything works normally. Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a workaround?
    Thanks

Never heard of this issue but I would try to trash your preferences and restart Premiere. Preference Manager is a great, free, application that makes this very easy to do for multiple applications at ones or just any single one at a time.

Trashing preferences is my first line of defense always.
