  Premiere CC and Metadata

  Hi,

  i try to find a workflow to add metadata. basically i want sort files in project manager by the creation date. as i found out, *.mts files did not contain this information better premiere did not show. they have these informations because exiftool can read out them.so i came along to read out these informations with the exif tool in a xmp sidcart file. i also found out that the there is no way to embed these informations in the original *.mts file. so i converted the *.mts file in an *.mov file. but i did not found out how to merge the xmp data in the new mov file. the metadata field now is filled with the date of the conversion and not with the original creation date.

  i was looking for days in internet and saw that many peoples have equal problems. but i was not able to find a solution for this problem….
