  Premiere CC 2015 – Timecode Effects missing Timecode (just Field Symbol)

  I’ve applied the Timecode Video Effect (from the Effects Bin, Video Effects > Video > Timecode) to my clip, however I only see the Field Symbol and no actual Timecode. When I select SMPTE or Frames I get the same result. When I choose Clip, Media, or Generate I get the same result: JUST the Field symbol and NO Timecode.

  If I save the project and open in another computer I have no problem seeing the Timecode (it works as intended).

  I’m having this problem on my school’s computers. Same issue for an entire lab of 12 computers. All Mac, all running CC 2015.1.
