Premiere and MacOS Sonoma-is it working? (update)
Our institution is forcing Sonoma 14.3 onto all Macs starting Feb. 20. Our video shop does all of our Premiere editing on Macs. We are still on Ventura 13.6. Now that it has been a few months since this release, how are editors doing who updated from Ventura to Sonoma? I have read Adobe’s notes on this but it doesn’t help me evaluate whether or not to update. Now, I have no choice. Let me know how it is working out (or not). Thank you.

I do not own a Mac myself so I cannot say from experience but if the company itself is forcing you to switch into that, I would suggest checking some of these YouTube videos so you can have an idea on how the Sonoma interface works and reviews upon it as well: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Sonoma+14.3
They may or may not have changed some layouts of how you used to work in the previous version of Premiere Pro, so its good to have an idea and be prepared for the changes before you are forced to migrate to it so you can be ready to work on it quickly. Best of luck!

Some of us are running 2024 on Sonoma for weeks now.
MBP M1 2022 and 2019 MPs.
We don’t use any special plugins so we are bare bones.
I am still running 2023 on my 2019 MP but I am lazy that way 🙂
