    Hi there.
I am about to do something i haven’t done, and would like to get any input.
I read a lot about dynamic link in CC. Does the fact that the AE and Premiere are on different location changes anything? or as long that an external drive is set correctly and orgenied, it’s fine?
I am going to receive a 30 minute movie in Premier
get in in to AE for color correction and titles
and back to Premier for some final touches and export.
I guess that if the “back to premiere for final touches” was omitted, everything would be much simpler
but I was asked to bring it back…
AE is by me, Premiere by another person on his machine…

    How should I tackle this?
The main issue here is having the project open seamlessly later in Premier.

    Thanks for any input!

    Adam

It can be done, but re-linking media can be a hassle unless all your file paths match exactly. I’d suggest you take temporary custody of the .prproj and look into the new render and replace workflow [link].

    Thank you Walter. Valuable information.
I ended up working normally since my AE work was different than I expected. And a fairly simple workflow.

I might try in the near future.
