Premiere AE wont playback
Hi all,
This is my second project that has this issue where I my Premiere Pro CS2 is just wont play anymore after a few clip imports and trimming. I have a very standard setup where my Aftereffects comps is on video 2 and the raw clips is on video 1.
The first minutes it was all working well with the playback. 10 mins later it just wont play anymore (spacebar). This is annoying since I cant see the real timing (sound n motion) the reason I’m using Premiere for.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!!

Render out the AE comp files. Replace them in the timeline in PPro and se how that works.
The AE Dynamic Link can only fairly simple AEP comps. If your computer isn’t super fast it only gives you a guide. Wouldn’t use it to finish if I have a complex project esp with 3D cam, lighting that kills the cpu in flip/flopping to and from AE to PPro.
Hope the rendered versions don’t freeze your project.
If it does, try starting a new project – same settings and import the PPro project into it.
