I edited some after effects comps and then brought those project files into premiere. I lined up all the projects in the premiere timeline as if they were footage and exported. That seems to work fine, but this time I tried to export it on another computer across the network and some of the files were connected and some were offline. Since this will be a weekly workflow for me, what would be the best way to effectively be able to export somebody else’s project on my computer?

So…is it Premiere having the probem, or is AE not loading the assets because the project was moved without them?

Dynamic link isn’t really designed to work between two machines over a network, so when that AE project was ready to be brought over and DL’d on the PPro edit sequence, that project would have to move with it’s assets, or if you have duplicate assets on your machine, you’d have to relink into the AE project. It sounds like PPro may not be your problem if I’m understanding your situation (and there’s always a chance I’m not…)
