  Premiere 6.0 with EZDV

  Hi.
  I got a EZDV capture card recently, I have installed it on an XP machine and am having some problems at “first base” so to speak. Firstly, it said that the hardware was not certified for use with XP, and therefore I should not continue. I did anyway.

  I put the card in, Xp said it found it OK. No problems, I tried the EZDV test that came with the card (on the installation CD, although no XP drivers actually on the CD) and it said that the card was not found during the test.
  I have tried installing the card many times, with no avail.

  The other problem is that when I try to install ANY of the bundled software (premiere 6.0 & the canopus software) I get the following error:

  16 Bit Windows Subsystem
  C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS & Microsoft Windows applications. Choose “close” to terminate the application.

  Obviously this is driving me nuts. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions to this problem??
