Does anyone know of a streamlined workflow to go between premiere and audition, using premiere to do video and audio editing, and going to audition to do further audio editing and audio effects processing. Is there anyway to keep the audio cuts in audition, the way they appear in premiere, in case after further editing or effects processing, audio cuts need to be moved to fit better with the video…

I will generally use “Render and Replace” which turns the audio into a WAV file. Then “Edit Original” will work if you have Windows set up to use Audition by default for WAV files.

From PP, I always just right-click on the audio track and choose “edit original”, which allows me to edit the audio in audition, since audition is my default audio app for most formats, such as .wav, .mp3, etc. When I save the changes in audition, the changes are automatically changed in PP audio track. If it were a cut I made in Audition, I make sure in PP that the new length is adjusted there. This is all I know about that. I don’t think I quite understood the last part of your question.
