premiere 1.5 mpeg 4 video playback problems
When using pro 1.5 at home, I am having problems getting mpeg4 files to playback on the timeline (edit mode) correctly. I have rendered them, but they are still skipping frames, holding and jerking, and losing sync with the audio. They play back perfectly in the preview monitor. I have tested other types of files such as quicktime movies, and those work fine. I’m asuming I am missing an encoder or decoder of some sort.
I’m on windows xp home.
