    I used to be able to run the color corrector in 1.5 almost realtime in draft mode. This effect had all-in-one effects. I mostly used the curves and saturation, and was able to play almost realtime in draft quality. But with 2.0 I have to combine 2 effects to get the same control, and this can

    You may be expecting too much from your new PC. As far as Premiere is concerned your new PC is not much more powerful than your old one. Premiere just does not much of the horse power available.
    It should not hurt to try to copy/paste effects from 1.5 into 2.0…just keep track of what you are doing so you can undo things if it gets crazy.
