Premier PRO CS4 and capturing HDV video
I’m wondering why I can not capture HDV clips (no problem in DV), with CS4 through port 1394 on win xp Pro. I use, as a reader, a Sony HVR-M15E videorecorder. I also tried to capture with the camera which I use, the Canon XL-H1, same story, I can capture the audio but no video. The remote controls the recorder function but the picture remains black. The Project in CS4 is designed to mount HDV clips. Any suggestions. Thanks.

I assume you have selected audio & video from the F5 capture set-up screen…?
