Premier Pro CC cutting video in play preview
Hi there, I know this problem has been posted a lot over the internet but all the tricks I’ve found in the forums and websites did not solve my issue,
my problem I had a premier pro cs6 before till I got one of my clients footage 2k shot using Alexa ARRI camera, the footage couldn’t be imported into premier pro CS6 at all.. so I had to remove premier and installed premier pro CC which did accepted the footage files BUT… having lots of issues using preview play , the all over the time line the video is cutting and lagging and never became normal even after trying all what I found over the internet..
I also worked on two different projects with HD quality on a site editing imac it was perfect using premier pro CS6 but when I brought the project files into my imac and opened it in my premier cc I found both projects having the same exact issue since the last upgrade..
Please advice how to solve this issue as I have lots of pending work ..
my imac specs is:
processor 3.4 Ghz i7
Ram 32 GB DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB
OS. X version 10.9.5
Using Seagate external storage over local network (I used it before with different project without any issues) -

Turn off Composite preview while trim under the wrench in the timeline.
See if that is any better.———————————————–

There are three options there:
Composite Video
Alpha
Multi Camerawhich one to select? there isn’t any “Composite preview while trim” option there !!
