    Hello,

I have a clip that I imported into Adobe Premier Pro CS4 that has unbalanced audio. How do I balanced that clips audio within the clip. The knobs in audio mixer does not do that trick because the dialogue on the clip for some reason comes up only of the left speaker and the music on both.

    Any suggestions?

Select the video clip in the Project window; choose Clip>Audio Options>Break out to Mono. THen you can modulate the gain of each track separately.

I know there should be an option to balance the audio between the channels.

I selected the clip > clip>audio options>>break to mono is grey.

Did you select the clip in the PROJECT window and not the TIMELINE?

I figured it out. Went into effects and choose either fill right or left left under audio effects. Then just dragged the effect onto the clip.
