    Hi everyone!

I currently use Premiere pro for DV with this resolution: 720×576 (PAL).
    I’d like to buy a 1080i camera.
My question is: is this resolution supported by Premiere?
If yes, how can I turn it “on”?

    Thanks for help!

If you want to buy an HD”V” camcorder…then you can simply download the Ppro 1.5.1 free upgrade from Adobe and you’re set to go… If it turns out you like some more speed, then you can purchase AspectHD from CineForm to run with PPro and accelerate the process considerably.

If you are considering HDCAM or DVCProHD, then you would need a compatible HDSDI card…I believe that BlueFish444, Decklink and AJA all have models compatible with PPro. I have an AJA.
