  Premier Export help?

  Hi Guys,

  I am doing a video for web which includes screen capture footage from camtasia (mp4). The video is to be published online and is 640×480 (square pixels).

  The problem is when I export from premiere CS4 as a f4v file the screen capture sections have went really distorted and blocky to the point where you can barely read the text. If I export as an uncompressed quicktime file the same footage becomes very dull and grainy.

  As a test I dropped the same footage into After Effects, exported as a loseless .mov file, then used Adobe Media Encoder to convert to a f4v, the video looked fine. I can’t understand why I am getting such varied results with the same settings considering Premiere uses AME too.

  I know I could use After Effects but the finished videos are very long with many different pieces and it is much simpler to put it all together in Premiere.

  Anybody got any ideas?
