    Premier Crashing

    I’m tapeless now and Premier ingests flawlessly. However, I had to go back to capture from an HDV tape using an HDV deck.

    1) The preview monitor in the logging window does not display video but it is reading timecode and it’s controlling the deck fine. Set in and out points and log.

    2)The uncaptured clip shows up in the project panel but when I go to batch capture it, Premier crashes every time. I have installed the latest updates but cannot figure how to capture this clip.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Hi Mark,

    Make sure the HDV deck is not downconverting to DV on the 1394 output.
