    Hi,
I have just captured a few DV films from my camera with Movie Maker (as AVI). It plays normally in WMP, but when I imported them into premier, the sound becomes so weird. Other audio files, such as music, play in good quality, but I don’t know why all my captured films have a horrible sound.

I’ve tried both 32 and 48kHz as the settings, but still the same problem.

    Thanks

Windows Movie Maker captures to DV AVI Type 1 files, which PPro is not entirely happy with.

Capture directly in PPro to get DV AVI Type 2 files.

    Cheers
    Eddie
