    Hey Guys ..

Well, I really screwed myself this time ..

I am editing a short and using dynamic link for the first time.

I was editing in Premier Time line and correcting in AE by importing the Premier Project file and the specific sequence I wanted to work on.

All was going fine … then, one of the sequences didn’t expand in AE. The footage and the sequence was in the AE project bin. So genius me decided to just make new AE compositions of each of the footage files. (luckily all amount to about two minutes).

Then, I essential reversed my dynamic link flow, importing those AE comps into Premier and laying them into my time line edit.

Problem now is, every time I so much as move one (in my premier time line), it calls for me to render. Its driving me nuts.

Can I break the dynamic link to AE? Those comps are listed as AE comps in my Premier project bin.

    Any suggestions ….. ???

Thanks in advance for your help and THANKS so much for all the help on this site in general.

Stop using dynamic link this time.

render your comps in AE with meaningful names and use those clips to finish in PPro.
